Welcome Dear Parents and Carers, As we reach the end of the third week of the summer term, it’s been fantastic to see the school community in full swing. Pupils have returned with great enthusiasm, and there’s a real sense of purpose and positivity in the air. Our Year 6 pupils are now in the final stretch before their SATs next week. They’ve shown such commitment and maturity in their preparation, and we’re incredibly proud of each and every one of them. We’ll be doing all we can to ensure they feel supported, calm, and confident going into the week ahead. A big thank you to families for your encouragement at home—it really does make a difference. Let’s continue to build on this strong start to the term and make the most of the weeks ahead. Kind regards Mr N Campbell

Welcome Dear Parents and Carers, It has been a very exciting term which has culminate in Keeping safe month and Kindness week this week. The children have been learning about how to be kind to each other, talking positively about each other, giving and receiving compliments and undertaking a variety of team building activities. I met with the Chair and Vice Chair of the school council this week where they highlighted things that are going well - believe it or not the children love playing with the tyres donated by Spixworth MOT Bay! Areas that they want to look at are more clubs for the children that are not just sports and so the school council will be launching a pupil survey next ½ term to find out what clubs the children would like to take part. This will then help us make the transition from Thursday "keep up and catch up" groups run by teachers to things that are more interest based. I will keep you updated once the survey has been completed and the array of after school activities that will be in place after May half term. Thank you again for your ongoing support and have a lovely Easter Break. Term starts again on Tuesday 22nd April. Kind regards Mr N Campbell

Welcome Dear Parents and Carers, Attendance 93.3% Over the last two weeks we have begun to conduct pupil voice surveys relating to life in school. The first survey focused on Break and lunch time provision, where the children were keen to have more play equipment to support this unstructured time. They have compiled a "wish list" of resources and Mrs Marrison has taken the lead in sourcing these items and looking at ways that we can fundraise for some of the big ticket items that have been requested. Watch this space for further updates, but I am pleased to report that some of the desired items have been rolled out already and this has had a positive impact on lunch times already. I wanted to thank you all for your support in attending parents' evenings this week where I am sure you have been able to see the great learning that is taking place in the classrooms. Kind regards Mr N Campbell
