Starting school is a very important time for young children. We aim to make it a happy and exciting event!

At Heartsease Primary Academy, we welcome children into our Nursery from ages 2 and 3 - and into our academy from the beginning of the school year in which they have their fifth birthday until the end of the school year in which they become eleven years old.

Before your child starts in reception you will be invited to make informal visits to the academy. This will enable your child to meet the other children in their class along with their class teacher, teaching assistant, Headteacher and other members of staff.
