Welcome Dear Parents and Carers, As we head into the final week of this long 8-week half term, we want to say a huge thank you for your continued support. We know the children are starting to feel a little tired, but they’ve been working incredibly hard—and we’re nearly there! Just one more week until we all enjoy a well-earned two-week break. A gentle reminder that good attendance is vital for your child’s learning and progress. We continue to celebrate our Attendance Stars each week in our celebration assemblies—well done to all those showing great commitment! Please also remember that children need to be through their classroom door by 8:50am to be marked on time. However, learning activities begin at 8:30am, so arriving earlier helps your child settle and get the most from their day. Reading & Phonics Cafés A special thank you to our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 families for attending the Phonics Café. We were also thrilled to see so many of you at our Reading Cafes on Thursday 16th October—it was lovely to watch you enjoying books with your children in class, and rehearsing the shared reading strategies that will support reading at home. We have launched our reading raffle, so every time your child reads (at home or school) they will be awarded a raffle ticket. Two lucky winners each week will be picked from the raffle tickets and win their very own book (of their choice) to take home. The more reads, the more chance of winning! We’ve heard your concerns about safety at the school gates during drop-off and pick-up. We’re pleased to share that following frequent communication, Norfolk County Council have appointed a School Crossing Patrol warden, who is expected to start at the beginning of December. Whist we cannot directly impact behaviour outside of the school grounds, we’re doing what we can to help keep the area safe for all our pupils. Thank you for following our Parent Code of Conduct, which outlines expectations whilst on the school site. This can be found here: Final-Parents-Code-of-Conduct-September-2025.pdf A polite reminder that there are no phones permitted whilst on the school site. Celebration Assembly Update: We’ve made a small change to our Celebration Assemblies: Years 1, 2 and 3: 2:15pm Years 4, 5 and 6: 2:45pm Keep an eye out for your invitation if your child is receiving a RESPECT Award—we’d love to see you there! Thank you again for being such a supportive part of our school community. Let’s finish the half term strong! Warm regards, Mrs G Guy Executive Headteacher

Welcome Dear Parents and Carers, We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our families for helping us begin the new term with such positivity and enthusiasm. The children have returned to school looking incredibly smart in their uniforms, and it’s been a joy to see them settling into their new classes with confidence and curiosity for learning. We’re so proud of how quickly pupils have embraced their learning, showing real pride in their work and a fantastic attitude across the school. It’s also been wonderful to see so many RESPECT awards already—what a brilliant celebration of the work put in by pupils. Thank you to all parents and carers for your continued support, and a special thank you to our Year 6 parents who joined us this week for our 'Introduction to Y6 meeting.' Your encouragement makes a huge difference, and we’re grateful for the partnership we share. Please remember that being in school every day is vital for your child’s progress and wellbeing—every day counts! Mrs G Guy Executive Headteacher

Welcome Dear Parents and Carers, As we come to the end of another school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many achievements and memorable moments we’ve shared. This year has been one of growth, resilience, and community spirit. Our pupils have continued to impress us with their enthusiasm for learning, their creativity, and their kindness towards one another. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or during school trips and performances, they have made us all incredibly proud. To our Year 6 pupils who are moving on to secondary school: we wish you every success and happiness in the next stage of your journey. You leave behind a legacy of friendship, leadership, and laughter. To our dedicated staff: thank you for your tireless commitment and care. Your passion and professionalism are the heartbeat of our school. And to our families: thank you for your continued support. Your involvement and encouragement make a real difference in the lives of our children. As we look ahead to the summer break, I hope it brings you all rest, joy, and time with loved ones. We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back in September for another exciting year of learning and discovery. Wishing you all a safe and happy summer holiday.
